This book contains 16 units, covering important aspects and the everyday life of children. Each unit is divided into the following:
Dialogue: Each unit starts with an easy, short dialogue, exposing students to vocabulary words, expressions and syntactical structures. This dialogue section is aimed at making students more adept at language usage.
Vocabulary: The vocabulary mentioned in the dialogue is presented again alongside images, to reinforce words in the student’s mind.
Speaking: Each unit includes exercises for speaking in pairs, so students can become more fluent at using the language. Speaking exercises are interactive, and draw on the material used in the dialogue exercises.
New Vocabulary: This section contains pictured vocabulary terms, to enrich the student’s vocabulary with new words.
Reading: Reading passages are taken from the dialogue; new material is not presented, so students can easily understand and read.
The Picture Dictionary: The student book contains a picture dictionary at the end of the book. The dictionary includes sensory words in the lessons so these words can come alive in the student’s memory.
This series consists of 3 levels with a student textbook and workbook.
كتاب التلميذ
يضم الكتاب 16 وحدة تعليمية تعرض الجوانب الهامة لمحيط الطفل وحياته اليومية
وقد جاء تصميم الوحدات كما يلي
الحوار: افتتحت كل وحدة بحوار سهل قصير، يضم الجانب اللغوي من أصوات ومفردات
وتعبيرات وتراكيب نحوية. والهدف من الحوار هو تسهيل عملية التعلم والتعليم وتمكين التلميذ من استعمال اللغة والتواصل بها.
المفردات: وهي المفردات الواردة في الحوار مصحوبة برسوم صغيرة حتى تُيسّر عملية الفهم
والادراك.
الكلام: يحتوي على تمارين الكلام، بشكل ثنائي، حتى يُكسب التلميذ الطلاقة في استخدام اللغة، ولتحقيق التفاعل والمشاركة والتواصل بين التلاميذ. وهي تستثمر المادة اللغوية التي وردت في الحوار.
المفردات الجديدة : وهي مفردات حسية مصورة، هدفها إثراء رصيد الطفل اللغوي، وتزويده بمفردات جديدة غير موجودة في نص الحوار
القراءة : هي إحدى المهارات الأساسية التي يسعى دارس اللغة العربية الى اكتسابها.
فنصوص القراءة متكونة من مفردات وعبارات نصوص الحوار. فهي لا تقدم مادة لغوية جديدة حتى يتيسّر على التلميذ قراءتها وفهمها
المعجم المصور يحتوي كتاب التلميذ على معجم مصور ورد في نهايته، وهو يشتمل على
الكلمات الحسية التي جاءت في الدروس، حتى تبقى معانيها حية في ذاكرة التلميذ
