لن نقول أن بوسع هذا القاموس "المعين للجيب" أن يحل محل القواميس الأكبر حجماً التي صدرت عن مكتبة لبنان ناشرون، عنينا "المعين" و"المعين الوسيط"، إلا أنه يستطيع بفضل هذا الغني بالمفردات العربية المترجمة إلى الإسبانية ، أن يحل كثيراً من المعضلات وأن يؤدي خدمات جلى لأولئك الذين يريدون الاستعانة به لقضاء حاجاتهم في شتى حقول المعرفة.
